Welcome to the Hoover Middle School Technology Wiki! We (Suzan and Jeff) are really excited about launching all of our middle school teachers (SMS, RFBMS, and BMS) into the world of Web 2.0 by introducing Wikis as the main teacher web page. The goal is for this site to become an evolving haven for our teachers to hang out in and learn what they need to survive in the ever-growing space we call the web. We plan to add lots of links, videos, podcasts, resources, etc. to keep you PluggEd In to what's happening in the world of Educational Technology

Jeff started teaching middle school in Hoover in 2002. He was an 8th grade World History teacher for 5 years and then became a Technology Coach in 2007, where he now serves Simmons and Bumpus Middle Schools. He was a technology pilot teacher at Bumpus Middle in 2006-2007 and that is what led him to developing the skills and passion needed to become a technology coach for other teachers. He has a bachelor's degree in Anthropology and History from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, where he also earned a master's degree in Secondary Education.
